Welcome to Paltizum. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all products, services, and transactions provided by Paltizum.

2. Orders and Contract Formation

  1. By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase our products.

  2. A sales contract is formed when we accept your order and begin processing it for shipment.

  3. An order confirmation email is automatically generated upon purchase and does not constitute acceptance of your order.

3. Product Information and Pricing

We strive to ensure that all product descriptions, pricing, and other information are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct any errors, update product information, cancel orders, or issue refunds if incorrect pricing, product information, or inventory errors are identified.

4. Made-to-Order Products

Most products sold by Paltizum are made to order.

Production generally requires 1–2 weeks before shipment.

Production and shipping times may vary depending on order volume, holidays, material availability, or other circumstances.

5. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before shipment.

However, if production has substantially progressed or if cancellation is no longer reasonably possible, we reserve the right to decline the cancellation request.

6. Product Variations

Due to the nature of our production process, products may exhibit slight variations, including but not limited to:

  • Color tone

  • Texture

  • Print placement

  • Finishing details

  • Size (approximately ±1–3 cm)

These differences are considered normal characteristics of the product and do not constitute defects.

Please also note that colors may appear differently depending on your monitor, mobile device, or display settings.

7. Shipping

We ship both domestically within Japan and internationally.

Orders may be shipped using Click Post, EMS, DHL, or other shipping carriers selected by us.

Estimated delivery times are provided for reference only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to customs inspections, weather conditions, carrier operations, public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

8. Customs Duties and Import Taxes

Customers are solely responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, VAT, or other charges imposed by the destination country.

If a shipment is refused due to unpaid customs charges or rejected by the customer, no refund will be issued.

If reshipment is requested, the customer is responsible for all additional shipping costs.

9. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our separate Refund Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

All content available on this website, including but not limited to product designs, photographs, logos, graphics, text, trademarks, and other materials, is the intellectual property of Paltizum or its respective rights holders.

No content may be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without our prior written permission.

11. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Place fraudulent orders

  • Provide false or misleading information

  • Use stolen or unauthorized payment methods

  • Use bots or automated purchasing tools

  • Place bulk orders for unauthorized resale

  • Attempt unauthorized access to our website or systems

  • Interfere with the operation or security of our website

  • Engage in any unlawful or abusive conduct

We reserve the right to cancel orders, suspend accounts, or refuse service if such activities are detected.

12. Limitation of Liability

Paltizum shall not be liable for delays, losses, or damages arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters

  • Fire

  • Flood

  • Earthquakes

  • War

  • Terrorism

  • Pandemic

  • Government actions

  • Customs delays

  • Shipping carrier delays or loss

  • Import or export restrictions

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price actually paid for the affected product.

13. Suspension of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders, suspend accounts, or terminate access to our services if these Terms are violated.

14. Amendments

We may update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice.

Revised Terms become effective immediately upon publication on our website.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Fukuoka District Court, Japan.
